I hope your weekend is going well. Just a quick update –
I was out of the office most of last week (Wed- Sat) to attend a training in Houston. Not only did I enjoy the 70 degree weather, but I became a certified trainer in Leading and Coaching Others. I was chosen by the Y of the USA to become a national trainer. I’m very honored. This is an area I’m truly passionate about. It does require me to travel a couple of times a year. I, of course, put my name in the hat for the Honolulu Y.
Now onto branch stuff:
We met our January membership numbers: 225 on a goal of 217.
90th Celebration invites are being created now. We’re working on being able to order tickets through our website. This would be the cleanest/simplest way to collect money.
Bob Evans has expanded their 40 hour/week wellness contract to 60 hours/week. Hats off to Christopher and the corporate wellness team.
Valentine’s Day – we’re creating a special day for our men/women in the overflow. Soup, cookies and handmade valentines will give them some joy that evening. If you would like to help – just let me know.
Thank you for your continued support of our Y.
Remember next board meeting is Thursday, Feb. 27th!
