I hope you are having a great weekend. Here’s an update on what’s going on around our Y:
- Van Buren is scheduled to open this Wednesday. Please join us in a small celebration to bless the building and meet our families. I will be giving a tour at 6:30pm and the blessing will be at 7:30pm by our very own Lou Seipel.
- Reminder to get your Conflict of Interest form completed. I believe Elizabeth sent it out last week.
- YWCA is closing their fitness doors early next year. I’ve already met with Elfie (their CEO). We’re planning a partnership to waive the enrollment fee and continue to honor their monthly membership rate for one year ($35/mth). They currently have around 300 active members.
- Chart of Work – I have received almost everyone’s commitment. The board committee chairs will have the summary by July 28th. They will meet to have their goals identified by our next Board Mtg on August 28th. Excited about our 2014-2015 year!
- Van Buren Summary – Download the quick reference guide here. This will give you the overall look of our facility and its capacity.
